I went to Norm's last night for the first time in years. We were seated promptly and our server was friendly and very nice. The ambiance was nice, like a normal diner. I ordered the country fried steak which came with soup and salad. I had the chicken gumbo and a green salad. The gumbo was delicious and the salad was just lettuce mostly no tomatoes. The country friendly steak was something that I would order gain. When I ordered the steak I had my choice of potatoes. I ordered the baked potato with butter, sour cream and chives. But when me meal arrived I had French fries.
Good flavor on food order accurate, but the environment was rude I saw the cook manager I believe arguing with the servers and throwing the plates with attitude. Seems like he doesn't likes his job. I noticed this because I was sitting in the bar and not agreed with what I saw. Today December 5 2024 at 1:10 pm
My wife and I ate here last night for Thanksgiving. Our hostess was VERY nice, and on top of things. We didn't wait 15 minutes to be seated. Our table and booth were SPOTLESS!!!!! Our waiter "Mathew" was BUSIER than a three-peckered goat in the Spring. He was VERY nice, and PROMPTLY brought us our orders, which were FANTASTIC. He deserved EVERY penny of the tip I gave him. I shook hands with the shift-manager "Oscar", and thanked him for the GREAT chow and service we received. We'll make this our NEW go-to.
Service was fantastic! Quick, fast & friendly, just the way I like! The Bigger Better Breakfast Burrito was fire! So flavorful and delicious. Nice plate presentation. My husband loved the French toast. It was nice and hot, crunchy on the edge. The meal was very enjoyable. As for the ambience, it's clean, roomy and plenty of seating.
Delicious late night meal! Conveniently located right off the 210 freeway... service was great and our server was super nice...
Fast, hot, and tasty! Our server was Chavez she was lovely and attentive to our family. We will be back!
As far as restaurant chains like this go, this is better than Denny's & ihop. Plus they serve alcohol. So service was great, we got a male host (I think he was a manager) who was awesome. & our waitress was nice and funny. The ambiance was decent. Clean, well-lit and modern. The food was good... but not great. We got a lot, chicken, a sampler platter, waffles, hash browns, French toast. You can see the pics. All of it was decent... but if waffles were a little soft for me honestly. I like crispy edges... but mine were floppy. Would probably go again around breakfast time and maybe the food will taste better. It's worth mentioning though it was kinda pricey for what it was, but they are way better than ihop and Denny's and they charge a little less. So it's a matter of preference I guess.
